He DAY 7 travel, after having been visiting the island, we took it from absolute relax. Beer here, sleepy over there, little pool ... and a very cool dinner in a modern restaurant. Here are a couple of photos.
By the way, the beer that comes out is made in Mauritius, in a large factory that we saw as it passed. It is very tasty. There are also many sugar factories. The train existed on the island for sugar plantations in the past, but as nobody used it commercially, it is finally extinguished.IMPORTANT NOTE: This newspaper was made on the v1 of this website, when we wrote only and exclusively for the family, so it is not as complete as the rest. However, it will help you get a general impression of what Mauritius is, as well as having the possibility to read more diaries of paradises in the world (¿Cuba? ¿Polynesia and Melanesia? ¿Riviera Maya? ¿Maldives?)
DAY 8, of visits and…! SHOPPING !!!. In the first hour we went to see the large botanical park of the island that is free, but you can rent a guide (although they feel a little bad that you do not rent them, jijiji). The park is extensive, the most characteristic were hazelnuts and nenufares.
And finally ... !!! SHOPPING !!!!!
First we were in the Floreal area, which are mostly textile products, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Giorgi Armani, Channel, ... but which are no bargain. At least for us. We were watching Cashmere and diamonds ... Something fell, jiji, but don't get too much illusions ...
From there we went to PORT LOUIS!! The great capital of Mauritius, with large traffic jams and great bustle of people. We agreed with the large market that was in the port area, next to a large area of shops and restaurants. A very beautiful area. Port Louis has typical colonial houses where you can see great English influence, the last colonizers of the island.
In the port we also took the opportunity to eat in an Indian that had been recommended, very cool but very slow. We almost ate our own purchases!
On the way back we were bursting with an intense day (and shopping is tiring) so we ended up having something to eat for bed.
DAY 9, absolute relaxation !! We get up, have breakfast and… PLAYITA !!! We spend the day between the beach, the pool, watching the corals in a GLASS BOAT (glass bottom boat), in the hotel SPA enjoying the Jacuzzi, more pool, and more relaxation ...
After so much "jubilee", we got handsome, had dinner and had a copichuela in the Bay Biew, the hotel's music bar. And nothing, we are already preparing the suitcase for tonight heading home making a stopover in Paris. We got everything into the suitcase, which I sometimes think is a miracle.
Tomorrow we will lie on the beach, to spend the day, last on an island 10,000 km ... a pity, snif snif. See you soon. Bicos
