Last July 22 Isaac I have turned 33 years old ... I look like 26, I know, hahaha, but it's 33 years old. And these bring us to Paula and me a different and special trip that we had been waiting for some time. Specifically since we stepped on that Sandoval Lake in the middle of the Amazon and of incredible nature in the trip to Peru 2010. That was the day we decided that our next destination was, finally, through Africa.

Congratulations to the newly awarded in this year's contest, and congratulations for the prizes you will receive (some of them on our return trip). But there are still unknowns to solve ... the first, what was this image?

Well, this image, although it does not contribute much to the contest (but Rocio would have taken it from the street, haha) is nothing more than the scene that represents our intentions, with Joseba and Margari on the right, in our part of Kenya and Juve and Ruth on the left, in our part for Uganda and Rwanda.

And is that we fly with Air France, company whose Loyalty card is the Flying Blue, from Paris, city twinned with Rome. We have already flown to far away places with them. specifically up Japan in 2008 And till Mauritius in 2007, Next to the Reunion Island, overseas region of France, and solution of the clues we raised ...

But after the first runway (Paris), we will try to get our destination to take us through the international airport of the capital of KenyaNairobi where We will process the visa and remember when we get the pills against Malaria. We will try to reach the highlands to visit the Samburu, pass by Lake Nakuru and before staying at the gates of the great Masai Mara, where one of the most impressive shows on our planet is produced, the Mara Crossing and the migration from the Serengeti, we will enter the Loita Hills where one of the most impressive forests of Elephants and Buffalo is seen and known in the Masai language as the "Forest of lost children". If the day gets hard, we can always stick a bath in the water springs known by the Masai as Maji Moto, near where we will try to camp.

After the second track (Loita), we will try to reach Masai Mara, to go back and reach the feet of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli and finish our part of Kenya on the beaches of Diani, south of Mombasa, to fly to Uganda. And is that Uganda, former English colony, will take us to the Murchison Falls, to go down the western part of the country to Kibale, park covered with great vegetation and with grasslands, swamps and coniferous plants and where in the months of July and August it is possible to rain. In addition to more than 335 species of birds and More than 60 species of mammals, here we can go in search of chimpanzees, an endangered species that is still on the African continent in more than 17 countries in tropical areas and where in Kibale there are more than 500 of them.

After the third track (Kibale) we will try to get the route to Queen Elisabeth N.P. and finally to Bwindi Impenetrable N.P. where we have processed the permits to be able to make contact with the incredible Gorillas de la Montaña. From there we will step on the legacy of the Volcanoes Natural Park, small part of the Virunga mountains in Rwanda, and place where Dian Fossey studied the gorillas (did not anyone see Gorillas in the Mist?). These mountains contain 6 passive volcanoes and 2 active. The forces will begin to fail after the search for chimpanzees and mountain gorillas days before, but we can't help trying to go in search of the Golden Monkeys or Golden Monkeys, descendants of the Blue Monkeys, of the oldest in the continent and are in serious danger of extinction.

After that fourth track (Virunga) we entered the final part of the trip, a trip always "increschendo" in which we will try a little madness, but this we leave it to the surprise, only for the lucky 20 people who managed to reach the final batch . Have you found the tracks easier this way?

Will we manage to do all this?

Well, the truth is that we do not know. Let's try. For the first time in our life, Paula and Isaac have 1 month. 31 days that will give us a lot and in which we will be accompanied by Joseba and Margari in the first part and by Juve and Ruth In the second.

In addition, for the part of Uganda and Rwanda we have to thank very much Carolien already Wim kokof the company Matoke Tours, that when we decided to go to this destination we were almost late and they managed to process the permits to see the mountain gorillas and are now trying to get us "other types of more complex permits" in addition to helping us with "services" there. But all this we will tell you calmly throughout the trip ...

And for now we don't tell you more. On Tuesday or Wednesday we will put the traditional TRAVEL PREPARATIONS and !! we begin the adventure !! There are ... 6 days !!
