On this occasion we made the complete article after the trip, so we went directly to our usual “GUIDED VISIT” of the accommodation With all the details and impressions.
Although there are many possibilities of accommodation, we did not go around this stay many times and we ended up in the Ol Tukai Lodge.
As in the rest of the lodges that we have found in Kenya, the first thing we find in a large building that contains both the reception, the restaurant and other services.
The reservation, like the rest of those made in the part of Kenya, we made with Safi Safaris that gets better local prices than those offered on the internet, although they can be made directly from your own website for about between € 70-90 / person and night
We are in a beautiful lodge with some cabins that overlook the Kilimanjaro, completely covered practically all day except first thing in the morning.
The lodge has 80 comfortable rooms, all equipped with bathroom with shower, private balconies and other amenities. There is also a luxurious villa that includes rooms with private terrace, jacuzzi, dining room, kitchen and barbecue.
The interior of the cabins is very cozy, with all kinds of amenities. There is enough space for suitcases, in addition to having a battery outside the bathroom (where the shower and the toilet is located), a careful decoration and, of course, a large bed with mosquito net (although at the time we went there were no mosquitoes ).
In both the room and the bathroom, the cleanliness is absolute.
The rest of the complex has a restaurant that offers local and Massai specialties, as well as a terrace. There is also a lounge that serves cocktails or any other beverage, and a poolside bar to cool off. For the organization of conferences the lodge has a fully equipped room with capacity for 200 people. The leisure and relaxation offer includes a beautiful outdoor pool surrounded by acacias and board games available to customers, as well as the possibility of excursions and other activities.
The we would recommendyes To the taste of the consumer. The complex is well located and is much more than correct. Amboseli, in our opinion, is not worth it at all (and less after coming from Samburu and Masai Mara).
